A new revolution in electric vehicles. Voltron Motors and Brazil, the perfect match

Electric cars are gaining ground worldwide. A more aware population and strict measures by governments have put the electric vehicle at the center of global mobility. Replacing the public transport fleet is a priority in most countries. In Latin America, it becomes urgent due to the large population and the wear and tear of the vehicles' existing fleet. This is where Voltron Motors and Brazil come in. The country had been chosen to be the headquarters of the company in Latin America.

David Gonzalez, a Mexican businessman and successful entrepreneur in the United States, is the new CEO for the company in Brazil, in charge of placing new electric vehicles at the center of mobility in Latin America.

Voltron Motors is an American company created in 2018 with more than 10 years of mobility, dedicated to designing electric cars, buses, and trucks for subsequent export. Its main objective is to acquire and distribute sustainable vehicles worldwide to contribute to climate awareness.

This company was born to design electric vehicles that can be distributed around the Republic of Brazil to improve public and private transport conditions in their regions while protecting the environment thanks to the sustainable use methods that they incorporate in their designs.

Nowadays, it is of urgency to change habits and social customs that do not harm the environment in any of its aspects; otherwise, the environmental consequences that the world will suffer in the coming years will be irreparable.

Little by little, electric vehicles have been gaining prominence in the automotive market over the last few years. However, for Latin America, it is still a relatively recent issue.

This type of investment could mean a significant step towards a possible sustainable society, which would bring considerable benefits to the economic, social, and environmental levels in the Latin American region.
For several years, Brazil’s urban transport problem has increased considerably due to the high population density that the country has. When public transport fails, people are forced to use their cars or motorcycles to get around the cities, intensifying traffic jams and environmental pollution, especially in large Brazilian cities.

According to studies carried out by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, the Brazilian automobile fleet grew 400% from 2006 to 2016. However, the construction of alternative and collective transportation has not had an increase that equals this increase.

With the intensification of the number of vehicles in cities, the increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is becoming more visible, as is the noise pollution generated by engine noise. In addition to contamination by discarded materials and spare parts.

Due to this transportation crisis, the Brazilian government intends to implement sustainable transportation measures using rail vehicles, such as the subway and surface trains, especially buses with alternative fuel, bike lanes, and moving walkways.
It is expected that by the last months of 2021, a total entry of 3,000 electric buses will be needed to the country, of which at least 1,200 should enter this year.

This is why taking into account the new licenses for electric mobility imposed by Brazil, Voltron Motors considers it pertinent to offer the Government of Brazil its services in terms of the acquisition and distribution of electric vehicles to its country.

In this way, cars for sustainable use can be distributed throughout the entire Brazilian territory for public and private use according to specific needs and routes.

For a project like this to be carried out, 2,5000,000 m2 of land will be needed to construct two lines of electric vehicles. Jataí – Goiás is the place chosen by the company to carry it out. One for cars and the other for trucks and buses. In turn, 2,000,000 m2 will be required to construct the cargo airport in the same area.

Yutong will be the company in charge of manufacturing electric vehicles.
It is currently considered the most important bodywork manufacturing company in Asia and the world’s largest manufacturer of buses with a production of more than 300 units per day and a production plant of more than 1.12 million square meters of the area built. Also, Yutong is one of the world leaders regarding the provision of buses abroad, with more than 15% in the global market.

Voltron Motors will take care of the design of electric buses with advanced technologies implemented by the Yutong laboratories. This use of technology will improve bus performance and bring notable benefits to the Latin American automotive sector.

With the installation of this new mode of transport, numerous jobs will be created in different construction, assembly, service, and driving areas, which will increase employment opportunities and improve the economy.

Not counting the sustainable advance it will earn by using this method. Brazil will become one of the first Latin American countries to use this type of transport, generating prestige and respect worldwide.
